Name Change

I have recently changed my name from Nick Naughty to Nicholas Chunky. I have done this mostly because there were more deejays out there performing under the same name. At this moment I am reborn as Nicholas Chunky, bringing you the best in Techhouse and Latinhouse.

Gel Abril Vs. Robaco Bossa - Spells Of The Berimbird (Nick Naughty Triple Mashup)

Three tracks in this one! I really like the 'Black Bird' track by Robaco Bossa (Keep an eye on him, and his next releases on Defected) and Gel Abril's
'Spells of Yoruba'. I combinded these into the Bootleg, and added the vocals of 'Berimbau' for some recognition on the Dancefloors.

I thought I'd do something besides the HMITM and Tropical Tunes mixtapes this time. This is what came out : a megamix using only tracks and remixes from one producer.

Who hasn't heard of Bingo Players, the 'new' House music sensation of The Netherlands. I pretty much enjoy most of their tracks/remixes so making this megamix wasn't that hard.
I managed to put 27 tracks in 50 minutes. This is almost impossible to do (good) live, so this is my first computermix. I'm super new to digital mixing, so bare with me ...

01. Sole Fusion - Bass Tone (2009 Mixes)

Chocolate Puma did it again! Bass Tone gets a really nice 2009 update by one of my favorite producers. I like both the CP Remix & CP Dub. For myself I put them together in one edit, but ofcourse that one is not to be released. The Chocolate Puma mixes are released on the Strictly Rhythm label and available from Traxsource since August 31, 2009.

02. Chocolate Puma Vs. Hardsoul - R2G2

The Hardsoul duo is another one of my favorites. Together with Chocolate Puma they made this amazing track. It's is featured on the 'Defected In The House Amsterdam 09 - Traxsource Sampler'. The sampler is released on the Defected 'In the house' label and available from Traxsource since August 24, 2009.

03. Chris Lake & LYS - La Tromba (Sour Grapes Balboa Remix)

Lake & Lys really did it with their new track La Tromba. The original is ok, but the Sour Grapes Balboa Mix is the best of the bunch.
The Balboa Mix is released on Rising Music, and available from Beatport since July 2009.

04. Richard Grey & Erick Morillo Ft. Jose Nunez & Shawnee Taylor - Life Goes On (2009 Remix)

It's a mouth full, but this track is great! You really have to check this one out. No doubt you'll love it. The track is released on Subliminal Records, ands available from Traxsource since February 2009.

05. Ministers De La Funk & Jocelyn Brown - Believe (Chris Moody Remix)

Chris Moody on the remix! That's something that can almost never go wrong. The Chris Moody remix is clearly the best from the package. This one is a Subliminal Records track, and is available from Traxsource since June 2009.

03. The Bad Bankers - We F#cked You Up

The 'Danny Cannizzaro Dub' is a real floorfiller, it's got no vocals but the beat and used samples are just awesome. Some of you might remember the classic 'Modjo - Lady'. This track samples from the same track Modjo used for Lady. Released on Oryx Music. Available from Beatport since February 27, 2009.

04. Lucien Foort - The Shame

Warren Clarke remixed it just the way I like it, so that version I support. It's just such a feelgood track. Nothing much else to say, just listen to it! Released on Hed Kandi Records / Stereo Sushi. Praia Del Sol & Dani-L Mebius - Private Pool Project (Nick Naughty Vocal Edit) (18.31 MB)

This one is probably the best one I did in 2008. Private Pool Project is a supersweet latinhouse track. I added Ian Carey's 'Keep on Rising' vocals and it became a real crowdpleaser.
